Tom Aitken

Tom is a Senior Vice President of Private Markets Sales at Easterly, responsible for building and diversifying Easterly’s portfolio of Alternatives Solutions.

Prior to joining Easterly, Tom served as Director of Portfolio and Client Services within UBS’ Real Estate & Private Markets division of Asset Management. At UBS, Tom focused on business development and relationship management across all segments of the U.S. institutional market. Previously, Tom was a Director of Business Development & Investor Relations for Geneva-based Unigestion, where he focused on expanding the firm’s private equity, public equities, and liquid alternative strategies to U.S. institutions. Before Unigestion, Tom spent over 12 years as Managing Director with private market placement firms Bright Harbor Advisors and Thomas Capital Group. Here, he advised and raised capital for venture capital, private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources funds.

Tom received an MBA from the University of Connecticut, an M.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a B.A. from Trinity College. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses.
